The City Attorney acts as legal advisor to the City Commission. Responsibilities include drafting or reviewing all ordinances, contracts, or other documents presented by the Commission. The City Attorney’s office is also responsible for prosecuting all city ordinance violations, including civil infractions and misdemeanors.
